CROWN is the Indian market leader in the production & sales of fully cooked & dehydrated potatoes. It manufactures potato flakes potato flour or a combination of the two according to a specific recipe if required and supplies them to customers' right around the globe. The majority of the flakes go to manufacturers for use as ingredients in their end products; the most well known end products are re-constituted potato crisps, for example, and the basis for instant mashed potatoes. Production plants are located in the Indian town of Tarkeshwar. The plants have been operational since 2012 and enables crown to serve customers in the growing Asian market

Add 6l of water to 1kg of Potatoking Flour OR Potatoking Flakes, stir gently, fluff with a fork. Do not whip! You have mashed potatoes ready in no time. For creamy mashed potatoes, add additional hot water or milk. For thicker mashed potatoes, add more flakes. Potatoking Flakes bind water even when cold.

For a special touch, quickly stir in any of these ingredients after cooking: butter, milk, grated Parmesan cheese; shredded Cheddar cheese; crumbled, cooked bacon; sour cream; corn; or onions.

For creamier texture, stir in a little more milk than what is called for. For stiffer mashed potatoes, add a few more potato flakes.

Bring 3 tablespoons milk and 2 tablespoons water just to a boil. Remove from heat. Stir in 3 tablespoons potato flakes. Let stand 30 seconds or until liquid is absorbed. Whip with fork until potatoes are desired consistency. Cool slightly.
